The purpose of the A.T.S.S.A. is to provide information and expert advice by manufacturers, to people responsible for the maintenance of trucking fleets. The main objective of the A.T.S.S.A. is the study and encouragement of safety and practices in the maintenance and operation of motor transport fleets. The ethical practices and promotion of sound development and reform in Fleet Management and Transport Maintenance are also an important issue.

We serve on Provincial Advisory Committees such as the "Truck/Coach Technicians Committee", and the Apprenticeship Reform Committee. The ATS branches have sponsored more than 300 apprentices since 1990. A full 80% of these apprentices are employed today and serving our transport community.
