Wakefield Canada is a Canadian company that sells, markets, manufactures and distributes leading products for both the Automotive and Heavy Duty Truck markets. Ryan Weary, Territory Sales, made the introductions. Wakefield was founded in 2005 in partnership with BP Lubricants exclusively in Canada. Wakefield’s Brand includes Castrol, H2Blu [diesel exhaust fluid] along with SuperClean - a line of cleaners and degreasers. Named one of Canada’s “50 Best Managed Companies” it is highly focused on customer service. Virginia Bain updated us on the diesel exhaust fluid [DEF] that is needed to meet 2010 emissions in reducing oxides of nitrogen. [smog] and how the product goes thru the manufacturing and delivery process and the proper methods to store. JP Soucie talked on synthetic motor oils with the goal of reducing operating costs, [4% better fuel economy & 3 X OEM drain cycle]. It’s more than oil; it’s liquid engineering.
